Thanks for the naked painted people

By Amy Harris, Advertising and Direct Mail Manager

The University Press of Florida’s Spring 2012 catalog is out and it’s receiving rave reviews—thanks, in part, to freelance designer Louise OFarrell’s fabulously edgy cover, featuring images drawn from Robert Kerstein’s forthcoming book, Key West on the Edge: Inventing the Conch Republic.

With a back cover by the press’s Design Manager, Larry Leshan, and interiors by yours truly, the piece was printed by the fine folks at United Graphics, Inc.

If you ask me, the press’s intriguing new offerings have never looked better. Thanks to everyone—copywriters, proofers, authors, routers, and designers—who had a hand in creating this season’s catalog!
